Somehow packed with even more explosive action and twists, this sequel does not disappoint. It brings more heart and more fire as the story amps itself up, unflinching as it hurtles trial after trial at the characters. It got so intense there were moments I thought I would cry or be sick, and a few times I had to force myself to put it down for my sanity.

Finding out that this was originally supposed to be a manga explained everything and now I’m revising all my reviews to give it 5 stars because it is so fun. Truly the Riverdale of books. Bending the rules of reality because the author has never lived in reality.

Important: Do NOT take this as me recommending the series. Unless you’re my friend and you’re funny.

Listen it's not exactly quality, right? But something about this book series just pulls you in and doesn't let go. It's super fucked up. But somehow even on a reread still enjoyable.
