It was very cute, but definitely frustrating at times, especially when
Olive didn't tell Adam about Tom sexually harrasing her until she found proof
. Although, part of my frustration might be a result of me seeing too many of my own negative personality traits in Olive. Overall, it was a great read, and I wish it had been longer.

I've read 'love on the brain' and 'love, theoretically' first, so it was very interesting to see ali hazelwood's writing improvement backwards. Ngl, the whole "big, brooding, insanely smart and unapproachable guy and small, dainty, sunshiney, quirky, also insanely smart girl" trope is on another level in her work, but most of the time i quite enjoyed it (and just kind of read over those lines). i do find the MCs to be kind of over the top quirky sometimes, but i think the combination of women in STEM and romance is a refreshing read.
Personally, i had to put down the book a few times bc i cringed too much but u do u.
The thing i love (and sometimes roll my eyes over) most about Ali Hazelwoods novels is how head over heels the guys always are while the MC is completely clueless. This always makes me want to read it in one sitting and leaves me giggling and kicking my feet at some point.

All in all her books are just very enjoyable, especially for comfort reads without too much angst.

Turns out Im a romance reader. I loved this start to finish. Their friends and side characters were also well written and lovable.

Fabulous, show-stopping, never-been-done-before (by that I mean done at least a million times but not in this way). I love a good man-pines-over-a-girl-who-has-no-idea-the-depth-of-his-feelings-for-her moment. Grumpy × sunshine. All the fun things.

Also, also, women in STEM. What a novel concept (not really, but its nice to see it in the romance genre, or ANY genre, but I digress).

Probably the best book I’ve ever read most def recommend. One of my top three books I’ve read so far. Very detailed book and when I finished reading I immediately wanted to reread the book.
