So glad Cari killed her father on her own. This is her story to tell. Her mates complement her, they don’t make her.

It took me a hot minute to finish this one tbh xD I had/have the most mssive reading slump and Its been a struggle to pick up a book but slowly we;ll finished them one by one.
I think what i struggled with with this one is because it follows so tightly on the first one, I've gotten kind of out of it. And when you're super into the story you can deal with the cringe a bit better? xD because although the story is really fun, Cari is a hella bad ass and I love her and Gessi- it's all still just a Marvel Fanfic x).
Either way it's entertaining, the spice it hot and I had fun reading it :)

This series isn’t for everyone, however I thoroughly enjoyed it. There are 5 books, the third is a novella, and I read the first two; Her Villians and Her Revenge. These are why-choose books so tread carefully if you dare 😂. The premise is a princess is forced into a marriage with her enemies, in hopes to bring peace to the elemental worlds. Betrayals are brought to light, secrets are exposed, and Cari battles in the grey area of who to trust and why. This is a very fast paced series, but I didn’t find that I minded it. The second book was a wee bit more smutty, and I couldn’t get through the 4th book because the plot was overshadowed by the smut. I wish there was more world-building to start the series, and a deeper dive into each of the characters and how their powers came to be/were gifted. These were fun reads and I would absolutely read more from Jade Presley in a different series.

I loved this sequel, and liked diving more into the side characters. It was fun trying to figure out who they were supposed to be inspired by from the mcu. Again, the spice was hot, and the character growth was great. I liked the direction the plot went, and can't wait to see what happens next!

Too slow and the story itself is odd
