I can seriously guarantee that if I read this when it was released I would’ve loved it. I was also in high school, so this would’ve been my cuppa. But I’m older now and can tell good writing from not so good writing.

This story was pretty enjoyable. A second chance romance. I loved their first encounter. I swear it was too cute/funny. The writing was great. It just felt like there was too much filler and some of the dialogue was super lengthy. It was still a great read it just dragged a bit longer than necessary with it being such low angst all the over explaining seemed unnecessary.

Oh and So Contagious is one of my favorite songs so seeing it referenced in this story made me love it lol

That one was difficult to rate...
I loved the story, I loved the characters...BUT this was not a fast pacing read for me. I didn't enjoy it like I thought I would. It's a good book, but maybe I was not just in the mood.
Too sweet maybe.

I was a big fan of the Explosive series, so I couldn't wait to read this book. We were first introduced to Cohen in Knox's book and then he
appears again in Kale's. We were teased with some vague dialogue that made me think that Cohen had an interesting story.

And Tessa did not disappoint. Knox was my favorite of the Explosive series and since Cohen is his brother I knew that I would like him, but i didn't think that I would instantly LOVE HIM. haha. From his first interaction with Andi I was swooning and he just kept getting better as the book went on.

I really liked Andi too...she was perfect for Cohen. And although I wanted to smack both of them because most of their problems were because of miscommunication, I really LOVED this book and I couldn't put it down.

I also like that we got a little more insight in to Branson's story in this book. Is it time for Conflagration?
