The editing isn't the best, and this book isn't what I expected, as far as theme and content. (I guess I was hoping most of the poems would be about nerdier things?) A lot of the poetry is about real-world problems, like abuse and mental illness, and while all the poems were very sincere and the topics important, they just didn't appeal to me personally. But the handful of standout poems and the fact that proceeds go to the Foundation to Decrease World Suck make this worth owning.

As much as I love Nerdfighteria and identify as a Nerdfighter, I do not love this collection of poetry. I wish the poems had been better organized, possibly by theme or idea. The talent levels of the poets vary, but I did really enjoy some of them. I would still recommend purchasing a copy because the proceeds do go to charity, but I would not recommend otherwise.

It's unbelievably difficult to rate a poetry collection by over 100 different poets. I appreciated the wide range of perspectives and themes. A good number of the poems really moved me and were excellently crafted. However, the majority seemed to be by as yet untried poets. Young, with lots of passion and a hunger for life, love, and justice, but with poems that were lacking in finesse. The was a lot of potential in this book, I hope the authors keep it up. The editing could have been more rigorous. But as a project for charity and as a nerdfighter book, I really appove! dftba!
