Hamersveld?!

And Now that Hamersveld has also been ensnared by Natalie it's obvious that they have a soft spot. Will they continue this breeding program? Why not let their males naturally find their mates?

So eager to find out what will happen next.

To be read after book 6
So book 6,5 in the Dragonfury series!

🌶️🌶️/5

God I'm so happy to see the inside of Hamersveld's mind! He was a character I was so curious about. And I'm deeply satisfied with him.

I'm so sad for him... He makes me thinks of Forge in the sense that they were both looking to belong somewhere... But he didn't had the chance to find a pack that have the same value as him... But at least he have the brotherhood and is loved.

**SPOILER***
God but what will happen with the baby, created outside the Meridian alignment, I'm scared he won't be healthy... And if it's a girl would he be able to protect her from Ivar, because he will want her in his lab if that is the case. What about his dragon half, what if it doesn't recognize it as his, what if it doesn't have the protectiveness. I have so many questions and no answers

This was such a good story. It was an easy read also.
The tale between Natalie and Hamersveld is very well told with the action and romance and, very well detailed for the shortness of the book.
From being kidnapped to kinda rescued, Natalie is having a inner battle with her feelings for her savior. Should she or shouldn’t she? That is her question.
Hamersveld is love struck with Natalie from the very beginning of the story! But he has to defy his leader to get to her. Will he? Who knows!

This was my first book by Coreene Callahan. But it won’t be the last!

Way better than expected, since I didn’t like the male lead in the other books. I think we may hear from these two again at a later date…

I need Book 3 Now!
Fury of Conviction by Coreen Callahan is book 2 in the “Villains” of the Dragonfury series.
Although part of a series, it can be read as a stand-alone.
This is my first dragon shifter book and boy am I happy I started with one by Coreen Callahan!

This is a short story and can be read in just a couple hours. I really enjoyed the relationship between Natalie and Hamersveld.
Hamersveld is working though his own struggles, trying to decide how or if he's going to defy the rules and help Natalie.
Being held captive, Natalie is just looking for a way out period! Little does she know; she has someone on her side to help her with that. But how far will she go?

Ending on a cliff with a steep edge, I am not so patiently waiting for the next installment of this story! I need to know!!! But in the meantime, I guess I can keep myself busy with her other books :)

The conflict in the book keeps you on the edge of your seat. Hamersveld is 1/2 human and 1/2 dragon. He is torn at the ritualistic experiments used to make babies for their species using human women. He is attracted to one woman, Natalie, who he feels he must rescue and help. Natalie is pretty strong and independent. The conflict for power is strong. Sveld, as he is known, is screwed because of his attraction to her. The chemistry is there and a surprise is waiting. This book is so full of power. Natalie's willpower to survive is strong and thriving even though she doesn't quite know where she is or when she was taken. Ivar is the bad guy and Sveld is just trying to protect Natalie, which is when we see his inner battle between bad and good. He's just trying to protect those he cares about. Ivar is his friend but Natalie is the woman he cares about. It's the classic love story.

Fury of Conviction ("Villains” of the Dragonfury Series Book 2) by Coreen Callahan
4 Star!!!!

I have once again found a new series and start out of order but don't feel out of sink. I really love the author's concept and I love dragons. I really could not put this book down. I am just hooked on dragon books and love dragon romances. I really like how the author was able to make this series one that flows with cliff hangers.

Hamersveld and Natalie have a complex love story and I for one love the fact that it is filled with drama and complexity. It makes it so much better story wise if it isn't predictable and like a carbon of another series. I love the fact that the book ends on a cliff hanger and it really makes me excited for the next. Bring me more is all I can say and let me delve into the world of dragons!

Hamersveld is Dragonkind, a dragon shifter with a chequered past, he has seen joy, tragedy and now friendship, but he is also alone, which is how he like it, he has his sanctuary on the edge of Lake Chelan, it is tidy, organised and clean, just how he likes it, but it is also empty, he cannot keep his mind from a woman who appeared a month ago, she is a beautiful redhead with green eyes and the perfect small package, but he cannot avoid the fact that she is also a captive in the lair run by his commander. Natalie is a fiery redhead with a temper, but she is also smart, ever since she was kidnapped in the middle of the night, she has studied her prison and thankfully made a friend in the process, but now is the time for her to try and escape, if only a tall blonde Viking like man didn’t interrupt her thoughts all the time, she would have figured things out a lot more quickly.

Hamersveld is about to go on patrol as soon as night falls, but when he gets to the abandoned bunker he calls his workplace, it is in even more of a state of dishevelment as the other warriors of his kind challenge each other to have access to the females in a couple of weeks, it is a prize they all want and need, so the fighting is vicious and if not curtailed, could turn out to be deadly, so in order to avoid the chaos which could ensue, he has to step in and stop the fighting before announcing the top three places, as he is sorting them out, he receives information that the woman who has caught his eye is in the midst of escaping. Hamersveld knows that if she is caught, a fate worse than she can imagine awaits her, however, when he gets to the site of the prison, another Dragonkind has his hands on her, this tips him over the edge and he becomes a feral fighting machine.

Natalie was so close to escape, she could almost taste it, but when she is caught and she sees the mystery man, she cannot believe her eyes as he transforms before her eyes into something she thought only existed in folklore, after he has placed in a safe space and shown his authority over the other man, he gives her a choice, to go back to the prison, or to go with him, she cannot deny that she is attracted to him, but is that decision in her best interest and which way will the pendulum swing? Which future will Natalie swing towards, a life in confinement, or an exchange of time for a bit more freedom? This is a paranormal romance with an element of danger, where choices could lead to either happiness or heartbreak, but which one is chosen can only be found out by reading to the end.
