What an odd and bizarre collection of three stories that ultimately are about our connection with others and the world. I found the three stories very strange and a little extreme, but I think that’s the point. They were grotesque and chilling and confusing and had such sadness. I felt there was a kind of emptiness across the three stories from each of the main characters that connected the stories. They were all wonderfully written and captivating as much as they were disturbing.

This book was very bizzare, a series of short stories majority of which weren’t that scary, the story that the title is named after is the most disturbing I would say, genuinely boggin.
