Mysterious, creepy and captivating edge of your seat thriller. Absolutely unpredictable storyline with many different characters and unexpected twists and turns. The ending came a bit abrupt but it is thought provoking nonetheless.

Thank you NetGalley / HarperCollins UK One More Chapter for providing me with this arc in exchange for an honest review.

A brilliantly fast paced thriller, with all the twists and turns of an easy page turner, but with a bit more depth in terms of some moral dilemmas and dystopian themes. The premise for the book is fairly unique, if also quite unrealistic. There’s a whole host of characters, some of which are pushed to side to make way for the more prominent figures, but it still feels like everyone has at least a bit of ‘screen time’. The plot develops really well, lots of tension and second guessing of which characters you want to trust. The ending could have been better but was still really good, especially the last pages I really enjoyed. Definitely would recommend.

I really enjoyed this book and would have given it four stars had it not been for the ending. I was really disappointed with how it ended especially as I was so invested with the characters and their future. The rest of the book was written really well however with some surprising twists I wasn’t expecting.
