This was my favorite of the series! I have been reading a chapter each night to my 7 year old and we both loved this story. I wish there were more as we've now read all the School of Secrets books!

I read this as a mini review of my daughter's book. She'sa little book worm too. It was pretty good with some good lessons and enough adversity for our character to overcome. Mulan is one of my favorite Disney characters so I was jazzed when the Descendants had her daughter included as a bigger role in their universe. I'm not a huge fn of Mal, as she tends to be a bit "extra" and dramatic, just not one of my favorite characters, so her absence was appreciated. My daughter is excited to read this now and I love being able to share books with her now.

I couldn't put this book down! By far, this was my favourite of the series so far.
