Madison Periwinkle struggles to make ends meet being a single mom to 5 year old Betsy. She has just lost her job when her boss's ex-wife won his dental practice in their divorce and promptly closed it.

When she doesn't have enough money to keep her daughter's Christmas presents on lay-away she is rescued by a stranger who pays off her balance.

Adam Donovan is an architect and is deeply affected by Madison. Will he fall for the single mom and when he discovers a secret link will it break them apart?

This was a wonderful book with some Christmas cheer and happiness through all of the dark times.

As a single mom I completely understood how Madison struggled with being able to put together the perfect Christmas for Betsy. I was so mad that she lost her job and that Dr.Fenton's ex-wife had no care about how her decisions affected other people.

Adam was a great guy who cared a lot and I liked how he helped Madison out and in turn found someone he really cared about. I didn't think his secret was enough for Madison to split with him as it was something he could not control at all!

Good read.

this a very short book ... took me less than an hour to finish.
it's sweet and light.
insta love and totally unrealistic but still sweet to read for the heck of it.

the idea was okay... it needed way more work and could have been amazingly great.
