I enjoyed reading this immensely. It's well-researched and puts 'The Time Warrior' into its cultural and historical context without ever going over the edge into the lost world of the over-nerdy (although obviously reading this book probably puts you in a relatively nerdy position anyway but let us move on.)

The most interesting bits - for me - were the influence of Robert Holmes' World War Two experience on the stories development and the section about Sarah Jane Smith (where there is a revelation about the phrase 'I could murder a cup of tea', which surprised me immensely.)

If you're really interested in Doctor Who then you should read this book and - actually - if you're interested in cultural history. Then go and watch the story on DVD.
