So cute! I absolutely loved Easton. He is truly book boyfriend goals. He is always there for Maya and never lets her question is devotion. Easton is what you want in a hockey book boyfriend and there is a great balance between banter, sweet moments, spicy moments and serious times. I do wish there was a little more about Mayas grieving process. It felt a little underdeveloped. Other than that, the book was a great read and super fun. Highly recommend.

I deeply appreciate the fact there was no miscommunication trope in this as there is often for college hockey romances. Great relationship built between the characters and the spice was good enough.

sweet and sporty

All the angst and sweetness you need. It’s about hockey but also love. Such a good read. The characters are well written and jump off the page. Their chemistry natural. The rival’s sister never looked so good!

First time I read a book by this author and I loved it! I love hockey romance and after reading the blurb knew I needed to give this book a chance. I'm so glad I did. It was so good!

Maya is done with hockey players. She's been done since her last boyfriend who plays hockey cheated on her. She meets Easton and guess what? He's a hockey player who is very charming and easy on the eyes. She wants nothing to do with him and he's intrigued by her. Easton tried everything to get with her but Maya is immune to his irresistible charm! They decided to become friends and Maya begins to see that Easton isn't like most hockey players.

I love how Easton falls first. He's so dreamy and swoony! I loved it! I loved their friends and I hope they get their own books! This was written well that it kept me reading into the late hours of the night.

You know that book that has been sitting in your TBR pile for a while, and then when you finally read it, you think to yourself, "Why in the world did I wait this long? to read this book?" Well, for me, that was this book.

Let's start with Maya, who I would consider a super driven but down-to-earth college senior who is working hard to graduate a year early. She has sworn off dating hockey players due to a bad past experience—that is, until she finds herself being thrown over the shoulder of her brother's hockey rival after a game. With a challenge to "catch her," Maya's life will never be the same

Easton- is a resident hockey player who is hoping to get noticed and drafted in his final year of college hockey. When he sets his sights on something, or in this case, someone, he is all in on Maya, the spitfire, bar top dancing, and sassy sister of his hockey rival.

As Easton and Maya take the time to truly get to know each other, it is clear there is something more than friendship between them. For two people who have sworn off relationships for their own reasons, they cannot seem to stay away. As Easton proves to Maya that he is nothing like her ex—both in and outside of the bedroom—her walls come crumbling, especially when she needs him the most. But it is not one sided in support; Maya has put aside her hockey game ban and shows up to support and encourage Easton as he plays his most important season.

And I am a sucker for a friend group, I love the support both characters get from their friends, and I love seeing them interact with each other, they weren't just theirs, but they were necessary for the story. I mean, who doesn't have friends that make other friends dance to "My Pony" because it's tradition? Or a Friend who cooks for the Hockey house? or the protective " don't mess with my people, friend" or the "go get you some" girlfriend. It is because of these friends that all the characters jumped off the page and into life.

If you didn't believe in true love before reading, you will once you have finished.

A spicy, slow-burn, just the way I like it!

This book was a joy to read, I love a well written college hockey romance and this novel didn’t disappoint. I love a plot where the boy falls first and has to convince girl who has caught his eye to give them a chance, it is even harder when she is his rival’s sister and the girl involved has had a previous bad experience with an ex, but despite Maya’s reluctance,

Easton was determined to get Maya to give him a chance, I enjoyed reading the development of Maya and Easton’s relationship from their first meeting to when Maya made her about Easton. I loved the connection that developed between Easton and Maya. There were some emotional scenes and some scenes that were

If you want a love-at-first-sight, no real conflict, no angst story... this is the book for you. For me the only thing I can really think to say about this book is that... it's fine. If you've read Eden's other Heston U stories the smut is pretty on par. I do enjoy the team and team dynamics. It's unrealistic hockey/college hockey but if you're not here for that or you can turn off your brain, you'll be fine.
