Shasta is continuing to go through hell at the hands of Sabbath,but something seems to change with her,and the way she sees Jesse. Jesse is fighting to keep his head above water after the end of his "relationship" but he also began to see Shasta in a brand new light. He vowed to protect her from all the hate and savagery from Sabbath,and to make her his...even if it's for a short time.
The book ends with a MASSIVE cliffhanger...which made me wanna turn the air blue lol,but I can't wait to see what comes next.
