This romance was like a warm bath on a winter night: easy, relaxing, and thoroughly enjoyable. Lily thinks her life is falling into a neat pattern. She's engaged to a handsome doctor who's currently working on a research project in South Dakota. She's just started a job in New Jersey with the Child Protection Agency. So what if her roommates are moving out, leaving her to find a new place to live she can afford on her single income? When the court's sheriff, Michael Frescato, offers her one of the brownstones he and his brothers are rehabbing, she believes her luck is continuing in the right direction. But so many changes in her life brings questions Lily isn't prepared to answer. Chief among them, how can she be so attracted to Michael while engaged to Josh?

It was pretty obvious Deborah knows her way around the family court system, and the subplots involving the children Lily worked with pulled at my heartstrings.  I hope we'll see more of the Frescato brothers in the future. Each of these guys deserves his own story!
