Another classic completed! This had been on my TBR for sometime and I’ve seen multiple versions of this novel in the movie form.  The book was VERY different, it gave a very distinct perspective of horror, consequences as well as delivering a gothic atmosphere through superb narration and excellent character development.  The absolute brilliance of Frankenstein and his curiosity wound up being his treacherous downfall and all those he loved around him. The intense rage and violence, the cruelty of both the created and the animated, the vengeance and vindictiveness leading to the demise of all parties. The great moral dilemma at the end, of making the monster a partner held me at the edge of my seat. Again, nothing like the movies, this was incredible.

O livro é bom, me prendeu do começo até o fim. A história é profunda e com um significado gigante
O “demônio” só queria ser amado e ele não conseguiu compaixão nem de seu criador, óbvio que ele ia ficar meio lelé mas não apoio nem o “demônio” nem o cientista

it was such an amazing story. it even gets better when you think that a teenage girl from 19th century wrote it, inspired by a dream. great choice if you want to get into sci-fi or in general, classics. also i thought i knew a few things about this, but i was mostly wrong?? i loved the telling and character writing

Mary Shelley, you are one cruel woman. And for that, I tip my hat to you.
