We continue the second arc of the story as we have Sadie and her family along with he child go to the way's bunker in Maine, turns out Sadie's mother is the leader of the group and we learn more about their cult and family secrets and how this child is meant to bring about the end times until that place is invaded by The Coyote and there is the demon raccoon and we learn more about the red realm. It was a very fun, action-packed, emotional rollercoaster story.

Whelp, that went non-stop. A lot goes down in this second volume, and there are a lot of surprising twists. Being a teenage mother is hard enough. Discovering that you’ve given birth to a blood drinking, apocalyptic, possible anti-Christ is worse. Discovering who is at the centre of the group of people offering sanctuary is? Ruh roh.
The Coyote and his story is gorgeous. After losing his daughter after she was killed trying to kill the Chosen Child, you’d expect drama. But wOw

#1 Vol 1 ★★★★★
#2 Vol 2 ★★★★☆

In this installment of Babyteeth, we follow Sadie and her family as Dancy leads them to what he promises is a safe place, but something is very, very wrong when they arrive.

This one definitely felt less horror and more action than the first volume, and a lot of the panels were hard to follow, just due to really simplistic panels that made it difficult to differentiate between characters. That said, I still loved the progression of their journey, as well as how tangible Sadie's love for her sweet little anti-Christ baby is. I'm super here for unconditional mommy love, even when demonic spawn are involved.

Thank you to Aftershock Comics for providing me with this ARC in exchange for an honest review!
