Al principio no me enganchaba tanto, pero conforme avanzaban las situaciones, se volvió muy entretenido.

"the devil's star" is the first Nesbo's book i've ever read (and currently the only one too) and i totally loved it! it's full of genius plot twists and chains of events that keep you on the edge of your seat; they just make you feel obligated to finish the book in one sit. moreover, the book follows Harry Hole's perspective who is a pretty smart, alcoholic detective with many flaws and problems. he is such a sweetheart, but he does act stupid lots of times making it difficult for him to keep his relationships and even his job. i really appreciate - actually love - the fact that Nesbo doesn't try to present his character like a flawless hero, but he prefers to show many of his weaknesses and problems and still make you love Hole for who he is - 'cause with no doupt, i can't help but be in love with Harry and his weak spots.

HOWEVER, i'll never forgive Nesbo for what Oleg wen through in this book. never ever.

Boring, and with all the characters even more utterly annoying and stereotypical. Probably the worst of all the Hole novels.

Also who thinks that a Taxi driver calls his clients "punters". Who translates this shit. Seriously.

Only the last 10% or so are actually gripping, the rest can be almost skipped.
