There is so little to say about it because thats the nature of poetry. It either means something to you or it doesn't. None of these poems spoke to me in either their subject or their style.

The only good book of poetry I've read this year. Review to come.

I want to love poetry but I just don’t. 😔

The title poem is incredible. I'm not super-in-love with the others.

The title poem was super good. Shaughnessy has a voice that I really love, and it makes for an engaging read. I liked the Seven Deadly Sins of Making Art, too. I liked a lot of it. I was never submerged, but I dipped in and out just fine.

Very powerful collection of poetry that highlights the connection between a mother and their child. Full of emotion and beautifully written.

If you only read one poem in this book, read the title poem.
