I feel like with this book I was looking for something more? The beginning and the end make sense together but I feel the middle is hard to connect.

Twisty thriller with a modern premise, plenty of red herrings abound.

Caution: See content warnings. The mystery was interesting to piece together but it's tough to get through if you have any connection to the content warnings listed.

This was an incredibly quick read for me. The plot was very engaging. It was fast paced and kept you interested. Overall good.

However, there were points where it kind of lost its grip on me. Purely because the author would forget what was happening it felt like. A character suddenly was not holding something they had been, or was wearing something totally different. And the over use of some words threw me. For example, svelte and akimbo (which I saw so frequently that I needed to look up their meanings).

I had a hard time getting into it because it was slow and had many many perspectives and flashbacks. But at about 75% into the book, it got good.
