So disappointing after reading some of Virginia Woolf’s other books. I guess this is supposed to be satire, but to me it’s just silly!

i finally admitted to myself that i'm not going to finish the last third of this book, not because it was bad or anything, just not particularly my bag. it is a weird book, like legitimately and surprisingly weird, in cool and meaningful ways, but the line to line read and what actually happens in the book kind of seems like rich people problems at a lofty conceptual level. i dunno. if there is virginia woolf that is like 10% less batshit and has a little more of a plot i'd be down to attempt it but i feel like i got everything i was gonna get out of orlando (the title of which i sang to myself to the tune of the song from "book of mormon")
