A good story, but not told very well. I was not impressed by the author's style or language, which I found to be a little on the childish side. There was a lot of emotional depth to be had from this story, especially since it is vital to our national history, but the author did not use its full potential. I felt that the writing style actually impeded any connection to the characters or story.

I could read hundreds of more pages in this story! It definitely tells the stories of forgotten women, and of those women who have been historically ignored and/or underrepresented.
