Not bad at least the authors gave us good back story before all the weird mating talks became prominent. I have to say calling it Stav is weird, I kept pronouncing it as guStav and I don't think that's sexy at all. Good internal dialogue from the prince his pov made me laugh out loud a lot of times.

Sci-fi dragon shifters!

I enjoyed this one quite a bit. Varus and Lilly are both leaders who didn’t ask to be in charge. They do a lot of talking past each other in the beginning, which was pretty silly/funny. I enjoyed watching them try to work out all the cultural/language differences. The world building is fantastic and I have high hopes for the rest of the series after reading this one. Writing was very well done.

Spoilers for nitpickyness: The story is a bit insta-lovey. I was surprised that Lilly falls for Varus as quickly as she does. Varus is nice and all, but I didn’t get a connection from the that necessitated her falling in love within a day.
