When Harry Met Sally is one of my favourite movies ever, and the humour and heart of it definitely shines through in Nora's other pieces. She's such a talented, witty, funny writer!!! I loved the parts on food (honestly made me so hungry), feminism and of Nora's experiences in New York and Washington in the 60s and 70s. Her stories of family, divorce and growing older were great too, a bit bitter sweet but with buckets of warmth and humour.

I think I made a good move when I decided that Nora Ephron would be my *new* favorite director- replacing Woody Allen.

I love her writing. Artistic & hilarious. And she shares all the details I always want to know.
(Because I want to know: what are they eating?!)

I had a prediction that I would skip the screenplay of When Harry Met Sally since I basically have that movie memorized, but it did not pan out. I just loved this book in it's entirety.

Funny and well written. Now I have Heartburn in my TBR. BUT it’s not 5 stars because I was looking for a very calm and cozy reading with Nora’s charming and straightforward pov. That’s not a case, but it’s perfect for you if you are interested in her journalism and essays about everything you can imagine.

A joy to read. I will admit that I skipped the screenplay and the play, but the rest of it was gold. I laughed out loud and wished I could have been invited, just once, to one of her dinners.
