I didn't get on with this book as well as Amanda Quick's others. I did enjoy reading it but was also very frustrated by it.
Both Miss Glade and Ambrose Wells are interesting characters but I felt their history was rather glossed over and yet it is really important to the plot and their relationship. I feel that character development has been given up on it return for more sex scenes.
"Hey, who needs to know about the characters, just get them into bed together!"
I'm not puritanical in my reading habits, but how much easier could a female heroine be?! I just felt that the "modern woman" angle has been done to death.

Super cute
I enjoyed the unique backgrounds of the characters, as well as their humor. It was a refreshingly fun "horrid" novel!
