Couldn't finish it. Thought it was kind of dull.

I liked this a lot more than I thought I would because I usually don't enjoy books rated as low as this one on goodreads. I will say the plot was a little chaotic and there felt like there was a lot going on to the point that I wasn't always quite sure what was actually going on. If he makes this a series, I will definitely continue reading because the concept is super interesting.

So this is basically Scooby Doo fan-fiction but make them grown up and depressed.
I wanted to love this book and I definitely had a fun time reading it however it all felt a little cheesy (especially the fight scenes) and the breaking of the 4th wall didn’t really lend with me. Tbh it felt like it was still a draft and not the final version and the last 100 pages were packed with too many action for my liking.
Overall I enjoyed the book. It was fun and interesting and intriguing and my scooby fan heart definitely felt… something. In a good way… nothing weird tho!!

P.S. The last 2 pages were too much on top of everything.

P.P.S. This book really reminded me of “Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated” with all the lovecraftian stuff and overall vibe. You should give it a watch if you haven’t already!
