I binge read this series and now that I’ve finished book 3 I need the next and final book right now so I can have answers to all the questions that are going to be in my mind for a long time from now on and I am not a very patient person when it comes to books and characters that are challenging me, my brain or my emotions and my heart.
The first thing that I have to say about this author is that I loved the writing because I kinda read Always in less time than I usually read and that's very rare. It's a world created by the author that will keep you glued to your Kindle because all the scenes and actions are very well written and you just want to know more and forget what’d going on around you.
I loved that we get to know more about Brax as he is older and growing up so nicely, a more mature man with a strength that only a few people are capable of even admitting what they want in life and how much they will fight for it.
She has to choose and, as in real life, there is no option without sacrifice, so we have to wait and see what happens next and how everything will unfold for these great characters.

Total twist

I can totally tell why this author needed to write a fourth book, because this book is jam-packed full of so much yumminess. It straight up falls into love triangle territory, with Leia torn between her two lovers.

Brax's character surprised me the most in this book. He's a completely different guy than what we previous read. Likewise with Silas, he is changing his ways and becoming what Leia needs him to be, but is it too little too late?

While it was unexpected, I love the route that the author took in this book. I was kind of expecting a kind of college romance, but that's not at all what we get. It's dark and gritty and biker gang and it works! I can't wait to see how she goes it up with book 4.

These books have got me on a ride. I am absolutely team Leia all the way! This girl needs a good man. All the men in her life mess her up in some way! This story was a little back and forth. A bit more scattered than the previous books, but not hard to follow. Still some really great story telling by CL Matthews! I can't wait for more of this story! I really need to find out who she picks once and for all!!!

Well, I wasn't expecting that ending at all. So, I enjoyed this book. I truly did. I loved seeing more of Sy, Leia, and Brax's relationship. Learning more about their past as well.

I am a little frustrated that this was published in 2019, it is now 2021, the ending says "To Be Continued" and the next book is still unavailable.

So, while I enjoyed this series, I think I would suggest waiting until the final book is out before reading them.

6 stars You cannot read this without reading the previous two books and as such my review will be brief and vague. This series gets better book after book. The tension, the angst, the emotions all heightened since the events of book 2. The flawed, broken characters all still pull at my heart strings and I'm nervous for every one of them. This makes me feel a lot of things. But then when does a book by this author not? I trust them though. Always.

Oh. My. Lord. I know (I think) who my loyalties are with, but good lord almighty this book sure did test them. Here's a book where you have two of the main characters who are clearly in love, but not sure where their hearts really belong. Brax is grown up and definitely all man in this book and proves it to Leia over and over again, albeit with clips of him and Brady playing on a continuous loop in the back of his mind. And knowing that even before Sy showed back up, he was competing with a ghost for her love. And then there's Sy - all he has to do is walk back into Leia's life professing his love and she finds herself in a tangled web of trying to figure out where she belongs. Who knew he had a side to him that was in stark contrast to how you see him in Firsts and Lasts, the older brooding bad boy (man/daddy ;) to a man brought to his knees at the idea of not winning Leia back.

I am loving the side characters - from the bikers all the way down to Brady - especially Brady. I have a huge soft spot for him and hope he gets his HEA at some point.

I have no clue, zero, zip, nada on how this is going to play out in Forevers. I know what I want - at least I think I do, but not sure I'm going to get it or if that's what I really want anymore. Way to go Ms. Matthews on another amazing installment in the Cape Hill saga and one doozy of a cliffhanger - and placing me on the fence of not being sure whose team I'm on. I'm looking forward to seeing how it's all going to wrap up in Forevers!
