Oh my heart! Even though this one is darker than the others.. I really loved it. Sam is my favorite! And Hazel is such a delightful character. I was cheering for them from the beginning.

This story was pretty intense and a bit dark. And at times I felt like nothing was happening until the very end. But it was all build up and I enjoyed it all immensely!

Very much enjoy this series - love a good fairy tale re-telling and with each book, this steampunk world gets a bit richer.

Audiobook performer was VERY breathy and annoying. It's possible they changed voice actors in the audiobook to get someone who could sound Romanian.
