Pretty hard to review a book of trivia and interesting banter, but this was certainly engaging and well written. Despite being by the duo behind the podcast, I'd recommend the podcast over this any day just for the quality of the banter!

Just like their podcast, this is pub-trivia training. Using a term I'd not read nor heard before the introduction to this book, it's a great example of edutainment. I was both educated and entertained. Josh and Chuck have a great rapport on their show and it translates very well into book-form. They're insightful and witty. Plus, their long-winded tangents on the podcast take the form of funny footnotes here.

Some of my favorites chapters:

The History of Facial Hair
John Frum and the Cargo Cults
The Pet Rock
Trillionaires
Roadies
Keeping Up with the Jones

The chapters are short, rarely more than 10 pages, so you can either read right through or pick and choose when you have a few minutes.
