I was undecided about reading this book but decided to give it a go as I have been to Pendle Hill. I’m glad I did. It’s very well written and the story keeps you turning the pages. The lead character is very believable and you can feel her emotions as the story unfolds. Great read.

Very good. Inspired by true events and people. Full of twists and turns. Debut novel that doesn't disappoint.

I liked this historical fiction but I think I expected much more from the novel. Witchcraft, witches and witch trials have always fascinated me. While I liked the story, I just didn't connect the characters.

I loved this book!! I know not everyone feels the same but I loved the perspective and the story. I loved how it was written and how we as readers see the characters. I was hooked the whole time reading. Obviously it’s down to everyone’s preference but I couldn’t put this book down!
