I've had this on my TBR KU list for a while. I've put off reading it because I am generally not a fan of dual timeline stories, but was intrigued with the synopsis. I love family saga books, so I did really enjoy this. As with most dual timeline stories, I did gravitate more towards the historical part. I did get a bit confused at the beginning of Cassidy's story, but it did all make sense, as time went on. I loved the Kim family. There were some twists and turns that I didn't see coming. There were lots of different Characters in this, which you get a glimpse of. My only negative would be that there wasn't a lot of Christian Content for me. Yes, there were some parts, but that is just personal opinion. If you like Dual Timeline, Family Saga CF books, then please take a look at this one. Sandra Byrd is fast becoming a favourite Author for me.
I read this via Kindle Unlimited.

Wow! Such a good read! This is the most unique Christian Fiction story I’ve read in a while! Plus the faith content wasn’t sprinkled in. It was in almost every chapter!
This story does a beautiful job at showing the power of the good generations can do by simply pushing on and trusting God. The generations had hardship, and no big unrealistic situations. The characters lived typical life’s and showed us how we can live and make impacts on generations to come!

I liked this book. It’s written with a dual time line that I thought was done pretty well. I usually like one story line better than the other. And I did with this book too, but I wasn’t bored like I can be with dual time line books. I love the message of legacy and building family. It was a feel good read for me.

This is a lovely story with dual timelines past and present about family and coming together when it matters most! This book has a little bit everything romance, mystery, drama, food gardening and a little more. It was a great read with a lot of deep topics making it an emotional read and everything felt real and authentic making it easy to find a connection with the story and the characters. It's a story of hope, love and strength and the bonds between family!

Thank you Just Read Tours, Sandra Byrd and Tyndale House Publishers for sharing this beautiful story with me!

Heartfelt & Uplifting! Heirlooms focuses on the friendships of women. In two time periods, we see how life changes when women uplift & strengthen each other instead of allowing unhappiness or insecurity to reduce their relationships to competition, gossip & coldness. I especially loved that the author drew in how beautiful & noble it is to nurture the vulnerable blossoms in life--whether it be Downs Syndrome children, autistic teens, or the aliens who take refuge on American shores. This story is as lovely as the gardens it describes. A worthwhile read! (4.5)

I enjoyed reading this book! It dealt with so many important topics, such as relationships, disabilities, secrets, immigrants and more! The book alternates in perspective from the grandparents to granddaughters. It showed how relationships can be interconnected and also complicated. Overall, it was a very easy read with a satisfying ending. If you are a gardener, you will enjoy this book even more!

I really enjoyed the story. I loved the family connections through flowers and cooking. It was interesting to see events through the perspective of grandmothers and granddaughters. But there were a few places where the plot fell short.
