I started out not feeling very sure about this book, seeing as it's touted as a disturbing and controversial book. In the end, I'm glad I read it. The author did a wonderful job of portraying the complexities of the relationship between the predator and the victim. The book left me horrified, sympathetic, emotionally charged up and a whole lot more. It is certainly a book that needs to be read.

All I can say is, wow. I have a hard time saying I enjoyed this particular book because of the content. However, Kate Elizabeth Russell did an amazing job telling this story.

I had chills the entire time reading this. I’ve never read anything like it and I literally could not put it down. * Severe trigger warning for graphic depictions of sexual assault *
