Less sparkly and fast-paced than "Everything I know about love", but still a witty slice-of-life book, at times poetic, sexy, and either sad or funny (or both). Some passages were painfully accurate but always in a light-hearted way. I liked the way Dolly / Nina casually but critically comments on misogynist relationship dynamics between delicate descriptions of growing up / growing old, changing friendships, family issues, and modern philosophy. It was more like a look into someone's head / an ongoing self reflection than a story, but it was quite enjoyable to read.

I completely lost myself in this story, which felt so relatable and made me both laugh and cry. It was one of those times where I didn’t want to reach the end of the book and keep reading. Beautiful writing, I simply loved every page of it!
