A classic from 1952. This book holds up well alongside modern books.

Light. Upbeat. Funny. It is a quick read with two important morals. First, the story is a gentle reminder to be careful what you wish for. Secondly, it is a lesson in moderation, least greed be your downfall.

I very much enjoyed this detailed lesson centered chapter book. My senses were entertained throughout every chapter. I may even read this in class soon (spans several grade levels)!

Old Children's Book. Liked it as a kid, but haven't read it in years.
