3.5 stars.
Sad, in a disturbing way, but not one of those books that makes me care so much about the characters that I cry for them. This was written in a way that felt detached so I felt more like I was reading a report about events, rather than getting drawn into the story.

Oh, how I love Sarah Langan. I missed her novels so much. This book is so dark and twisted, that it checks off all of my boxes. I feel like this either a book that you’ll love or hate. It’s definitely a love for me.

Just fell a little flat for me. There were a lot of overarching themes but unfortunately none of my favorite tropes played out in this novel.

Nienawidzę tej książki. Nienawidzę tych bohaterów. Nienawidzę tych wydarzeń. Nienawidzę tych miejsc. Nienawidzę każdej strony, każdego zdania i każdego słowa. Dlatego uwielbiam tę książkę.
