Re-read this book now that season 3 of Bridgerton has aired on Netflix. Part 2 hasn’t come out so I wanted to remind myself of Eloise’s story. I think Benedict will be s4.

I love this. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I didn't expect to love it this much, but this happens to be a romance trope that I like: chatty girl x quiet boy T___T AND THEY GET TO KNOW EACH OTHER THROUGH LETTERS AAAAA. Why am I like this.

Anyway, that's not the only thing that I like about this story. I like both Phillip and Eloise here because they fit each other in a nice way. I like the conflict of Phillip's life, and I like how Eloise is the answer to that conflict. I also like how it took time for Eloise to get the relationship that she wants. Also, the main thing that I like about the two of them is communication. They communicate well. They don't hold back for a long time and suffer because of that. Phillips is practical and Eloise is open, so that works nicely, I think. I also love how Eloise is good with kids here, but not "good" as in very caring and loving. I like how she knows how to handle them, but not in a super motherly way. She has her own ways, and it's nice.

My favorite part, however, has to be when the Bridgerton brothers all came and threatened Sir Phillip. POOR GUY HE DIDN'T EVEN KNOW THAT SHE RAN AWAY T______T

But I really enjoy this book. My favorite along with Anthony's. XD

I never thought I’d hate a love interest as much as I do with Phillip. The only thing that saved this was Eloise and her relationship to his children and it’s the reason it got 2 stars instead of 1. It’s crazy that this book which might be the worst in the series (still 3 more books to read so who knows) is right after the best.
