1. I know my nephew really loves me because I played a little bit of the audiobook with Jim Dale and he said "No, you do better voices!" and that is not at all the case.
2. I love Dobby. It was funny though that throughout the book my nephews and niece thought Dobby was a bad guy...as my sister noted though, he does mess up a lot in Harry's life! I forgot about that.
3. Reading this to kids (I first read them as a teenager) was fun. The sprinkling in of crushes and dating was of no concern and no one talked about it at all.I still don't like Ginny though
It's fun reading these books again, and honestly reading them a year apart has been an enjoyable experience since I essentially read them all of Summer 2012 so they blurred together...but it is hard to wait for my favorite characters to appear!
