hard to separate the art from the artist when confronted time and time again with lovecraft's xenophobia in text, and i also don't necessarily think one should. nevertherless, he's a master of his craft and the father of a genre.

I love cosmic horror but this writer is such horrible person and it shows in his stories. So I can't give full 5 stars no matter how much I enjoy mythos.
