I've not read the previous volumes but the opening page tells you what has happened previously and is enough to get new readers up to speed with what has been happening and how Moon Knight has been interacting with the wider Marvel Universe.

Marc Spector has been forsaken by his god, Khonsu, is wanted by SHIELD for his vigilante antics and has the might of the villainous government sanctioned Thunderbolts against him. If this is the end for Marc Spector he won't go down without a fight.

Some really good action sequences, especially a fight with Bullseye, a good cast of supporting characters, an interesting insight into the fractured slightly insane mind of Moon Knight and a good conclusion to the story which takes place over the course of five issues.

The book includes a one off story set at Christmas, 'Silent Knight', which has a different creative team. A longer issue for this separate tale with dark snow swept art for a gritty and melancholy tale of violence, loneliness and alienation.

Overall a good book with a look at a dark time for the heroes of the MU.

It was fine. Weird implicit misogyny throughout the entire thing.
