Second in series about tween/teen girls who are in a book club with their mothers. Issues range from normal popularity, weight, discovering boys and changes that occur in life - remarriage, losing your home. Together the girls overcome all of the challenges presented to them.
In this book they read [b:Anne of Green Gables|8127|Anne of Green Gables (Anne of Green Gables, #1)|L.M. Great characters, and fun insights into Anne of Green Gables. This book inspired me to reread Anne--I forgot how great it is! And I just love this mother-daughter series.

Hi, I'm mildly obsessed with this series and I think everyone should read it.
I think younger me would have been even more obsessed and I definitely recommend it to moms with daughters who like to read, but also just to anyone who enjoys well-written middle grade. I've really grown to appreciate middle grade in recent months, especially as audiobooks, and the narration of this whole series is great. Anyway, that's all I had to say. Thanks for coming to my TED talk - I hope if that you have Hoopla you download the first book and let the narrators tell you this fun little story!

I just love this series!! Hopefully you have already read the first book, but if you need to be convinced to keep reading, let me tell you that this series just keeps getting better and better!!! Some of my favorite parts of this book are: Emma and Stewart. Cooking with Clementine. The way Jess describes Half Moon Farm. Everyone coming together to help with the fashion show!!! Mrs. Wong supporting Megan’s dream. The camping trip. Cassidy’s turret. The field trip at Walden Pond. Everything about Concord and the MDBC meetings!! I can’t really think of much I didn’t like, besides the incident with Stanley and Cassidy at the hockey game. I’ve always felt  kinda bad for him. These books are always a joy to read! I can’t recommend this series enough. These books are truly the perfect comfort reads!!!

What a great book. I love the characters in the book and how well she ties in the books they are reading for their book club. I'm looking forward to reading the next one. This is a series that I would buy and keep here at home!

Words cannot express how much I LOVE this series! The characters, the setting, these are the kind of books I would pass on to my children when I have them. It is interesting to see how each of the girls grows this year. Cassidy has to deal with the fact that her mother might get remarried. Jess might lose Half Moon Farm. And ALL the girls have to deal with Becca Chadwick joining their club. The ways that they handle these trials are funny, sweet, and inspiring.
Besides the fact that these books are amazing in themselves, they also introduce readers to other good classics. This one featured the Anne books, which I read when I was younger and positively adored, so it was just another reason that I adored reading this.
