I had a hard time deciding if this book was sweet or trite but the sweetness won out. It has some really beautiful and poignant moments with main character Olive. Several of which made me cry.

I do think most of the plot is unbelievable involving her family. It feels like it was staged for the narrative.

It’s still an enjoyable read though, and I love books that take me to England.
