There’s lots of potential here, but I didn’t feel I got enough background information to really grasp what was going on. Maybe that’s more because I don’t read enough graphic novels? But I do hope there are more adventures between these two girls to flesh out their stories more. I just felt I was missing key pieces of information.

It honestly could of been amazing but it was too short and had a weak ending

I was just generally confused the entire time. The plot had no flow to it and there were parts that seemed to just skip over information that was never explained. The artwork seemed technically skilled, yet not exactly appealing at the same time.

An enjoyable, quick graphic story about two young women becoming friends and seeking to solve the mystery of killings taking place in their twin by a dark creature. It left me wanting to know more about local legends and lore behind this modern adaptation.

The storyline had potential but there were a lot of confusing moments where I just wasn't sure of what was happening. I think the author should have added a bit more context to make the story flow better. <Spoiler> I also was confused about the ending about why the lions and hyenas had to go to war with each other and what did eating the brains of other animals, or murdering humans, have to do with any of that and why does the monster speak English and is not subtexted in Amharic like other characters? <Spoiler>
