The Librarian must rescue his Pages (as in, library aides) from the Diction Aerie. There are traps and gladiators waiting to stop him! A bit different than some of the other Library of Doom books. The setting is more adventure than spooky, but still a great thrill. The text and pictures really drive the story and will hook in reluctant readers. It is a bit intense, so sensitive youngins might want to steer clear. There are writing prompts and questions in the back which would make it a great book club selection. Love this series!
