Mindy Klasky introduces us to Nick Durban the second baseman for the Rockets. We also meet Jamie who is a photographer.
Jamie and Nick have a past. Jamie also has a secret. Jamie has a daughter named Olivia and her father is Nick. Jamie is doing a photography job at the Rockets stadium when Nick shows up. You can feel the tension between them as soon as their eyes meet.
I loved the interaction between them. Jamie is doing a calendar shoot for the Rockets and has to bring her daughter. When Nick sees her he knows that Olivia is his daughter. She has his red hair and green eyes. Jamie and Nick both join a dating site and begin communicating with their alter egos. I loved it when they decide to finally meet for a first date.
The way that plays out is entertaining. Another great read for the summer.
