If I didn’t want to see what happens with the rest of this series I absolutely wouldn’t have finished this. Between the surprise pregnancy (gross) and the ridiculous miscommunication trope (yuck!) and Penny being neurotic and absurd (eugh brother) this was a major miss for me. Eli is a certified cutie patootie and has the patience of a saint.

This book was a little funny, but it was also a little toxic. Penny does some stuff that definitely waves red flags, and blames it all on the pregnancy (yeah, not an excuse). The pranks were funny, though.
