2 stars might be generous. This wasn’t well written and an editor could have pared it down to the useful information. I didn’t appreciate her sense of humor or knowing her personal stories. While there were some good tips/ideas sprinkled within all the nonsense, it mostly felt like she was giving herself a pat on the back.

This book was interesting and contained many valuable tidbits of information.
Pros:
-The end of the book contained some extensive information about silence and mindfulness that I loved. The topics were tied in very well.
-She approached handling conflict in a manageable way, which helps when conflict is not my strong suit.
Cons:
-Wordy with strange metaphors. I wish it had been a big condensed, as I felt she repeating things needlessly.
Overall, a good read, especially because it was for a class and I had to read it.

This is such a great book for not only business relationships but personal as well. Great guidelines for participating in authentic conversations and hearing and seeing the others in the room.
