This book is such a wild ride. I found it hard to relate to the characters as I didn't find any of them massively likeable (except maybe Ángela), and I found it especially hard to sympathize at all with

. That may have been the point however, in which case it is extremely clever to switch around the norm of feeling bad for the victim of the murder, as we discover that he is not a good person.

Fine read. It was a little difficult to get into but the second half of the book was actually quite gripping. I was a bit confused the whole way through and did actually feel that I was almost skimming it a lot of the time. Overall, it was fine.

The drama of this book had entertaining moments and some of the lines are really well written. The best thing about this book is it gives you a really strong sense of setting. Good at painting a picture but I just thought it was alright. Not in love with it.

Tan exasperante como la primera vez que lo leí. Cómo lo dice el del prólogo, si bien desde el primer párrafo se plantea que Santiago Nasar muere, una no puede pero esperar que algo a través de la historia cambie su destino, y cuesta resignarse a lo contrario.

Como la muerte hace de todos unos santos, porque a cómo de describe a Santiago intuye una que no era personaje agradable, y sin embargo, ahí va uno con el pobre Santiago Nasar!!!

Tengo mi examen de español en aproximadamente dos horas y recién termino el libro. No esperaba que en realidad me fuera a gustar tanto como lo hizo, pero así fue. Ahora sólo espero que eso juegue a mi favor en este examen!
