I would have appreciated this book more in my twenties. But it does not change that it is a smart meditation on youth, geography, sexuality and self-discovery.

I didn't like most of the characters, so that made it harder to read the book. I did enjoy seeing some events from the perspective of multiple characters. It's mostly about the internal life of these characters; there isn't much that happens in the book.

this was the first book Storygraph ever recommended me. that was almost three years ago. I needed something quick to get me back into reading mood so I finally picked it and then voilĂ , read a half of it before bedtime.
the stream of consciousness really did it for me. made this into a probe into the queer, young adult, Greenlandic experience, and I appreciate it so much for what it is.

It was so easily readable, and I ran through the book so quickly. Each of the characters quickly pulled me in, and I was invested in their stories. However, it also kinda felt like an opening chapter to each of their stories. Like I want to know more. How it will continue. I want to explore their issues in greater depth. This really felt just too short and it just sort of skimmed the surface of it all.
