so far i think this one is the biggest clustertruck of events, but not for the usual reason. the plot and concept works fine, so does the development, but when it happens, it's so underwhelming and boring, and thats entirely because of how the events are parted up between the povs. Everything fun is skipped over and just explained later, and then if something fun does happen, we move onto the next chapter where they don't know about it till somebody shows up to tell them, and that just ruins the effect.

Also Star Flower was the least believable character in the entire warriors universe like HOW didn't Thunder realize that this manic pixie dream cat wasn't a fraud. how is he supposed to be a leader.

This is my fave of the cycle so far. It was a really great book and I liked the prophecy about the Blazing Star.
Star Flower annoyed me a lot and I’m glad she betrayed Thunder because he was really naive and I ship him with Lightning Tail.
