Oh Smith and Molly! Love this concept of this book. And yes I just adored Smith and Molly.

What better way to get over a blindsided breakup than having a summer get away with friends. Well it all sounds fun but not when said friends are your ex boyfriend’s friends and he was the one that was supposed to be with you on this trip. But Molly makes the most out of it cuz come on she needs this vacation. What she wasn’t looking forward too was Smith, her ex’s best friend and the one man that hates her guts......or does he?

Smith is a hardworking man, running not one but almost 3 restaurants. He is a go go go kind of man, never taken time for himself and even more so since something tragic hits his family. So what better way to take some, or force some me time than going to the Hamptons. He was looking forward to getting out of his head for a little bit but the one thing that always is in his head is the last person he expected to see in the same beach house as him.

These two characters are full of lust and steam and hatred. But all of those things together under the same roof, good things are bound to happen.

This could have been such a cheesy, simple read. But then the author sprinkled in the twist with a dollop of spice. In some ways, it was a light read. Although, you were constantly reminded that the story was anything but simple. Story of girl meets boy who is secretly in love with her while they both suffer at the hands of life's evil hands. If you're looking for a meet cute romance in the Hamptons, this isn't the book you're looking for.

Fast paced love story

This story started out decent. I liked the chemistry between the two main characters, but the lovers spat seemed like the author was floundering for something to drive them apart- like typical love stories.

I’m always looking for something light and fun between my heavier reads and thrillers and this one did the trick! ⁣

Love At First Fight was such a fun book to read and I finished it in one day, I just couldn’t put it down. ⁣

Molly has just been dumped by Justin, who up and moved to Singapore without giving any notice to her or his friends! But their beach house in the Hamptons has been paid for this summer, so why not wallow in her sorrows beach and try and to get Justin out of her mind. The one problem is, her ex’s best friend, Smith, is going to be there all summer too and he hates Molly! Sounds like everything could go wrong, but what if everything finally went right? ⁣

I’m not normally a big enemies to lovers fan but I loved this one. The forced proximity made for some hilarious antics and I really enjoyed that the main characters were in their early 30s and aren’t quite where they thought they would be in life yet! This is the perfect book to take to the beach this summer! ...and those sex scenes are nice and steamy!

A fun summer read as a majority of it takes place over the summer in the Hamptons. Could’ve benefited from fleshing out some of the resolution (especially with Mollys parents) a bit more but overall and easy fun read

Not a huge fan of the bully trope but this one wasn't too bad. I did like that the FMC wasn't a pushover.

The characters did seem younger than their early 30s though.
