I really enjoyed Kate and Petros's story. We got to get to know Kate better and we learn a little bit about why she is so wild and wanting to live life. It wasn't what I was expecting. We have heard about Petros in previous books so it was nice to finally meet him. He is dealing with quite a bit. A fairly recent mission went bad and he is trying to deal with it/block it out. Kate wasn't ready for a mate and so she tries denying and running from Petros. They have to deal with a few obstacles that pop up for them as they try and figure out what they actually want. I loved the way that this book built on the relationship between them. There is a little action but not as much as some of the others. This book held my attention the entire time though. I had no problem turning pages. I wanted to find out how Kate and Petros were going to work things out between them. There is a ton of sexual tension and chemistry between them and the sex is explicit when they actually get there. The tension and chemistry play a large part in the story but there isn't a lot of actual sex...don't worry it totally makes sense and fits the story. I truly enjoyed this one and am excited to see where we go next!
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
